Presentation

FlexBlog belongs to a new generation of blog system. Unlike DotClear or WordPress, it uses XML to fulfill users' needs of a light, flexible and extensible blog. This application is developped by a growing community as a free software (as in free speech) and is released under the GNU General Public License.

Users and Testers

You have some knowledge of PHP, XSL, XML, XHTML, CSS or Javascript and want to participate to the project ? Subscribe to the developers' mailing-list to keep up with new developments (cf. mailing-lists).

Tools

Wiki

The project's Wiki contains all kind of documents : specification, presentation, documentation, etc. Those documents are accessible to all members in order to facilitate collaboration and exchanges of ideas among the community.

General mailing-list

Users and testers can exchange questions and ideas by e-mail using flexblog-users@lists.tuxfamily.org after subscribing to the list by sending an e-mail to flexblog-users-request@lists.tuxfamily.org with "subscribe" as subject.

Developers' mailing-list

Developers can communicate and exchange their views about FlexBlog development by e-mail using flexblog-users@lists.tuxfamily.org after subscribing to the list by sending an e-mail to flexblog-users-request@lists.tuxfamily.org with "subscribe" as subject.

IRC Channel

An IRC channel, "#flexblog" (hosted on the "irc.tuxfamily.org" server), is used for longer discussions, exchanges and debates which require quick interactions.

Subversion repository

FlexBlog is an ongoing project. A Subversion repository manages synchronization of team developments. The last version of the source code can be retrieved anonymously from "svn://svn.tuxfamily.org/svnroot/flexblog/flexblog" or via a web interface to our SVN repository.
